Training Industry Magazine
Training Industry Magazine is our award-winning quarterly publication that connects L&D professionals with the resources and solutions needed to more effectively manage the business of learning. The editorial calendar for Training Industry Magazine is created annually based on proposals we receive during our open submissions period (May through July). We will publish the link to the application here, during the open submissions period.
Website Articles
We accept submissions for TrainingIndustry.com all year on topics relevant to training professionals. Articles should focus on sharing actionable insights, strategies and best practices that offer value to corporate learning and development professionals.

Content Standards
- Originality: Articles must be original, unpublished and not AI-generated.
- Value-Driven Content: Focus on providing actionable insights, strategies and best practices that offer value to corporate training professionals.
- Non-Commercial: No references to products or services; avoid negative comments about competitors or industry practices.
Article Specifications
- Word Count: Aim for 700-1,100 words, though there’s no strict word count.
- Tone and Style: Use a clear, concise and professional tone. Avoid first-person language.
- Visuals: Non-copyrighted images, tables and graphics may be included, space permitting.
- Format: Submit article as a Word document (.doc or .docx).
Sources and Citations
- Citation Format: Cite all sources using hyperlinks. We do not use footnotes.
- Ungated Links: Ensure all hyperlinked content is freely accessible and ungated.
Review Process
- Submission: You can share ideas for approval or submit completed articles for review.
- Editorial Review: Articles are subject to editing, with no substantial changes made without author approval.
Author Information
- Author Bio: Include a brief, two-sentence bio that may include a hyperlink to your company.
- Publishing Rights: Authors may not republish the article without permission from Training Industry.
- Author Agreement: Authors must sign an agreement, assigning rights to Training Industry.
- Accuracy: Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all content and confirm the article is not subject to copyright restrictions.
